Healing Circle for AYA Cancer Patients and Survivors

Please register in advance for this event as space is limited.

Adolescent Young Adult cancer patients and survivors experience a wide range of psychosocial challenges, including establishing a sense of identity and self-trust. Healing Circles are a space to co-create supportive community and deepen our capacity to heal. Through the process of informal storytelling, we will have the opportunity to share openly about challenging experiences as young cancer patients and survivors.

The intention of this is offering is to:

  • Honor the voice and presence each participant

  • Learn from the collective wisdom of each person’s experience

  • Cultivate a sense of connection to self and among other AYAs

Through guided meditation and self-compassion practices, we will explore ways to embrace difficulty, access our own inner guidance, and deepen our capacity to heal in body, emotions, mind and spirit.

This offering will include time for peer discussion and support,  guided mind body practices, and reflection journaling. All are welcome. Participation is voluntary; no participant is required to share unless they so choose.
